What are the benefits of joining the club?
The University Club offers many benefits. One of the great economic savings is the ability to travel using our affiliated clubs throughout Canada, US and the rest of the world. We have King, Queen and Twin rooms and Suites available - rates are posted on the Accomodations page. Our fitness centre is fully equipped and has been designed with the busy executive in mind - another great benefit! Our function rooms are perfect for business meetings or that special occasion. Our members can book these rooms at incredible rates. Our special programming is a wonderful way to be entertained and make contacts. Members and their guests benefit from attractive pricing when enjoying wines from the Club's superb cellar where bottles are marked up no more than $20 over cost in the regular dining rooms.
What do I need to wear?
The University Club has a business casual dress code. You do not need to wear a jacket or tie. Jeans and T-Shirts are not permitted except in the fitness centre or in our over night accommodations.
Do I need to make a reservation?
Yes we prefer you reserve for lunch or dinner in the dining room. The bar is open for casual dining without reservations for breakfast 7am-9:30am, Lunch 12noon-2:30pm and Dinner from 5:00pm-9:00pm. You need to reserve for our over night accommodations by calling our front desk at 416-597-1336
How do my guests pay?
Guests of our members are very welcome. If you wish to split the bill with your friends, simply leave their credit card number with the front desk when you arrive. You can also allow your friends to attend an event at the club if you are unable to attend. You will need to register for the event by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 416-597-1336 Ext 228 and provide your friends credit card details.
Do you have a monthly minimum?
We have a semi-annual minimum of $130 for resident members. You can order wine from our wine offers and that counts toward your minimum.
What is your location?
We are situated at 380 University Avenue. On the West side between Queen St and Dundas Street. St. Patrick's is the nearest subway station. Please see directions.

Do you have parking?
The club does not have its own parking lot. There are a number of public parking lots behind us on Simcoe Street and opposite us on Armoury Road. (Click here to access a parking map)
Do you allow smoking?
No. The City of Toronto banned smoking in all public places as of May 2006.
Do you allow children?
Children are welcome to stay in our overnight accommodations. We welcome 12 years and older in our dining rooms. We have a number of family events throughout the year that are tailored to children's enjoyment.
