Serving on a board is often motivated by generosity – the desire to give time, expertise, and guidance. Yet even the smartest boards can struggle to translate good intentions into lasting impact. This session examines the structural, cultural, and cognitive factors that limit effectiveness and explore how generosity is harnessed to achieve real outcomes.
